Purposes and types of data

• Applicants or contacts who fill out a contact web form or quote request, and check the corresponding box, or who call the support telephone number, expressly consent and authorize their personal data to be collected and processed for the purpose to maintain the relationship of mediation and professional advice for the coverage of the risks subject to insurance, including the corresponding profile analysis, as well as to manage the contracting of insurance policies and the monitoring of their execution, compliance and incidents that occur, including possible recovery in case of non-payment, and financial advice, including profile analysis. Your personal data will be communicated to the insurance companies to the extent necessary to provide the requested service, as well as to underwriting agencies or other brokerages according to each case.

Personal data will be kept during the statutory limitation periods (five years from the withdrawal of the client in general or a period of ten years from the completion of the life or investment policy). The legitimacy for the treatments indicated in the main purpose described above is legally based on the development of the offer and, where appropriate, on the execution of the contract or service signed or to be signed with the Entity of Grupo Catalana Occidente responsible for the treatment.

The treatment for the other purposes described above and for automated decision-making is based on the applicable regulations or on the legitimate interest, after the weighing analysis, of each Entity of Grupo Catalana Occidente responsible for the treatment.
